The Municipal Court has jurisdiction over Class C misdemeanors issued by city police officers, code enforcement and animal control officers. The Clerk’s office is responsible for processing clerical work of the court, setting trial dockets, collecting fines and fees, maintaining records and performing administrative duties delegated by the judge.
The mission of the Municipal Court is to provide an accessible legal forum for individuals to have their court matters heard fairly, efficiently and while providing a high level of integrity, professionalism and customer service.
Fines are subject to change, contact the court for correct amount.
Cash, Cashier’s Check, Money Order, Visa or Mastercard. Personal Checks are NOT accepted.
A 24-hour drop box is located to the far left in the parking lot if you are facing the front doors of City Hall. Do not include cash. Write the citation number on your payment. Payments are made payable to City of Keene.
